The world's best cookies* have hit Melbourne and they are just bites away! Melbourne's first artisan chunky cookie shop, The Cookie Box, has landed at 51 Chapel Street, Windsor.

That's right, we're talking about those chunky cookies that you come across on Instagram that make you drool!  The Cookie Box has nine permanent flavours on the menu, including a vegan option. Your tastebuds will go nuts for the 'Nutella' and 'Peanut Butter' flavours. The 'Raspberry' flavour is also 'berry' good.  They are all absolutely delicious!  The menu will also include an experimental 'cookie of the month'.

And for those looking to treat their tastebuds that little bit more, you may be interested in trying one of their Cookie Bowls. Each an individual combination of a cookie with either ice cream, sauces, fruits and nuts including crazy combinations from Banoffee (a Churros cookie with ice cream, banana and caramel sauce) to Black Forrest (Triple Choc cookie with ice cream and Italian Amarena cherries) …  they're so good you'll be asking for 'S'mores'.     

The Cookie Box was founded in 2017 by Rodrigo and Gabriela. The couple, originally from Brazil, moved to Australia in search of a new adventure with their first stop, Perth. So what makes these cookies so incredibly delicious? The Cookie Box only uses the very best ingredients available.

"We don't cut corners… we only use the best we can find," Rodrigo said. "You can make a bad product out of good ingredients, but never the other way around.  That's why we use only the finest Belgian chocolate, real free-range eggs, Australia's best flour and butter and top quality vanilla.  We roll each cookie by hand, it rests for 48 hours to develop flavour and we only serve cookies freshly baked daily."

If you're keen to try out one of these amazing cookies, have no fear. They'll be available to purchase for as little as five bucks a pop. Or grab a mixed half dozen box for $28. That's serious value for money if ever we've seen it.

The Cookie Box makes the perfect treat for yourself, a gift for a hard to buy for friend, or maybe you just want to cause a stir in the office that will have everyone talking about the flavours.  We set up a tasting board including; The Original, Churros, Dark Orange, Nutella, Pistachio, Triple Chocolate,  to see everyone's reactions to The Cookie Box flavours with positive results. Rated delicious, although all were delicious with soft centers and great flavours, the dark horse winner was 'dark orange' with the classic and pistachio tying for 2nd place.
