Plus new -Ready Steady Wiggle' TV show begins on ABC TV September 11th, 2013.

The arena and entertainment centre spectacular will wiggle its way through Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart and Canberra, plus regional centres including Newcastle, Wollongong and Launceston. Melbourne fans are in for an extra treat - The Wiggles will also be accompanied on stage at Hamer Hall by the incredible Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, further enhancing the wiggly experience through the wonders of a live, 60-piece orchestra.
2013 is indeed a new chapter in The Wiggles' success story. Blue Wiggle Anthony enthuses, 'We have a new energy that's quite contagious! It's been such an exciting year so far and we're playing to a new generation of Wiggle fans. And we're also thrilled to be able to share with Australian audiences our first new TV series in over six years, which will debut next Wednesday on ABC TV."
After a hugely successful Canadian launch, this new TV show that shares the same name as the concerts, Ready Steady Wiggle, will bring more of the toe-tapping, laughter-inducing Wiggle-tastic excitement into the homes of families all over Australia.
Children will be kept dancing, singing and laughing during this colourful concert and TV series with Yellow (and first-ever female) Wiggle Emma, Red Wiggle Simon, Purple Wiggle Lachy and Wiggles' creator, Blue Wiggle Anthony. Fans will also have the opportunity to see all of their wiggly friends, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword and bop along to Hot Potato, Rock A Bye Your Bear and all their other cherished favourites as well as exciting new hits like Do the Propeller.
2013 has already seen serious success for The Wiggles in their new line up, from number one chart hits on iTunes, to packed out appearances and live shows around the world, to the emergence at shows of 'the mini-Emma army" - girls dressed up just like their new role-model Emma. Even USA's TIME and PEOPLE magazines have reported on the arrival of the first female Wiggle.
When The Wiggles recently travelled to the USA to launch the new show, they were asked to perform at the New York Mets baseball game, and were covered by national press including USA Today and Fox and Friends. And US entertainment TV's OMG! Insider says it all;
'Yes - It's the hottest celebrity ticket of the summer. Not Justin or Kanye... It's The Wiggles!"
And in exciting news for fans of the original cast, former Red Wiggle Murray Cook and Purple Wiggle Jeff Fatt are still actively involved with The Wiggles, writing songs and making cameo appearances in the live shows and videos, plus working behind the scenes with tour planning.
It'll be a wiggly end to the year - it's the perfect time for Australian audiences to be engaged and entertained, and to once again see what all the wiggly fuss is about!
