With 8 days to go until the Sydney Comedy Festival 2010 begins with its celebrated gala, Cracker Night, this is the final chance to snap up tickets to see some of the finest Australian and international comedy talent.
CRACKER NIGHT presented by THE COMEDY CHANNEL on FOXTEL, has become the most anticipated events of the festival selling out year after year. While tickets are already sold out for Cracker Night events at both The Enmore Theatre hosted by Scottish comedy sensation Craig Hill and The Virgin Mobile Metro hosted by Sydney Comedy Festival regular Al Pitcher, comedy fans will still have the opportunity to be a part of the biggest comedy night in the Sydney calendar with Sydney Comedy Festival adding two new venues.
Cracker Night will head to the Eastern Suburbs for the first time at The Parades Theatres, NIDA hosted by Tom Gleeson while Tahir will host the event at The Factory Theatre in Marrickville exclusively for Sydney Comedy Festival subscribers.
The four unique events will host some of the hottest names in both Australian and international comedy with some very special acts being transported around Sydney in the Sydney Comedy Festival Comedy-Mobiles courtesy of festival transport partner LeasePlan, to appear at multiple events.
Comedians performing this year will include Alonzo Bodden (US), Axis of Awesome, Benjamin Crellin (NZ), Carie Marx (UK), Carl-Einar Hackner (SWE), Celia Pacquola, Chopper, Daniel Moore, Daniel Sloss (SCO), Dave Bloustien, Dave Thornton, Dead Cat Bounce (IRE), Des Bishop (IRE), DeAnne Smith (CAN), Diane Spencer (UK), Dom Irrera (US), Ellis James (UK), Glenn Wool (CAN), Jackie Loeb, Jarred Christmas (NZ), Jason Byrne (IRE), Jason Cook (UK), Jeremy Hotz (CAN), Michael Workman, Mitch Fatel (US), The Pajama Men (USA), Peter Berner, Princess Cabaret, Reginald D Hunter (USA), Russell Kane (UK), Satans Workshop, Shane Mauss (USA), Steve Hughes, Tommy Tiernan (IRE), Tony Woods (USA) and Tripod. Plus as always you can expect some surprises on the night.
