With spring school holidays on their way, it's time to start thinking about events and activities to keep the kids occupied. Sydney Olympic Park's Spring School Holiday Program has a bumper list of activities, with everything you need to put a spring in your little one's step during the holidays.

 

Sydney Olympic Park is officially home to the BIGGEST range of school holiday activities of any single location in NSW. The Spring School Holiday Program 2018 features a range of fun-filled activities for all ages, tastes and budgets operating daily from 29 September until 14 October 2018.

Sport-loving kids can work up a sweat at the Quaycentre where regular favourites such as Gymnastics ($36 per person) and the NRL Footy Clinic ($40 per person) get the kids moving.  Back by popular demand, the  Flying Trapeze ($66 per person) at the Aquatic Centre is perfect for kids who like to fly high.

Sydney Olympic Park is once again offering loads of FREE activities this spring including the Park's newest addition Circus In Wonderland Costume Party. Kids aged 5-12 years can also take part in a Heritage Hunt at Newington Armory, or indulge their artistic streak with Waterside Origami at Blaxland Riverside Park.

The Park's Spring School Holidays Program also includes regular favourites such as FREE Clue Trails and Operation Art as well as archery and the BirdLife Discovery Centre. Other returning favourites from previous school holiday programs include Digital Film Making Workshop, Space Racing for Kids, Mega Mix Circus Workshop, Laser Tag, Urban Jungle Adventure Park.


The Writing Workshop is a a popular highlight with six separate workshops at Bicentennical Park directed by Dr Bernard Cohen, an Australian award-winning author and title-holder of 2015 Russell Prize for Humour Writing. Each workshop is designed to help build confidence, develop creativity, impove literacy and of course, have lots and lots of fun!

First-timers at Sydney Olympic Park's School Holiday Program will especially benefit from the Fun Hub at Cathy Freeman Park, a one-stop shop for all of your school holiday options.  While there, speak with the friendly Sydney Olympic Park staff for advice on the best activities to meet your children's interests.

From workshops and performances, to a range of activities and options for all interests, ages and budgets,, there's something for everyone at the Park these school holidays.

While kids enjoy play-time, parents and carers can put their feet up and watch or wander off for a meal or coffee available at many nearby cafes with parking and public transport facilities nearby.
