Sosooki Spring Summer 2010/11

Spring summer is set to be stylin' with the new collection from Sosooki childrenswear. The latest range from this hip label blends street style with storybook fantasy. It has a dash of retro with a modern twist. Playful designs and contemporary styling come together in this cool collection just for boys and girls age three to seven. So this season Sosooki kids can set their own trends, with a range that is refreshingly individual without being too grown up.

The Sosooki collection is developed from its offspring label sookibaby, drawing inspiration from this hugely successful infant's brand. So, as sookibaby's grow up, they can become Sosooki kids. This season, cool nerd styling is mixed with fairytale mushrooms, vibrant colours and street mono prints. Sosooki's spring summer range makes for a totally unique collection that is bound to be a hit with the little ones.

Nerds are the new black, with a geek theme included in the boys and girls collections. Making the smart kids, into hip kids, are the 'It's cool, not to be cool' slogan tees and nerd glasses printed onto shirts. For boys, there are a great collection of cool tee prints to choose from, including 'The King' Lion, 'Party Animal' balloon dog, and 'Hanging with my Gnomies'. Smarten up little tearaways with the funky check prints on shorts, shirts and tees. Or be really fancy with the dress shirt and bow tie print and every Sosooki boy will want to pull up his braces with the cool shorts with braces.

Just for the girls, a colour palette of cherry red, black and a hint of pink is mixed up with prints of story book mushrooms and polka dots. Pinafore dress and ra ra skirts in candy stripes look just delicious, perfect for a day at the fair. The cutest 50's inspired dresses and skirts are adorned with retro prints of circles or mushrooms. The cute leggings are anything but plain with polka dots, stripes or white and finished off with a cute, frill, trim. Graphic tees aren't just for the boys with a huge range of prints for the girls. Choose from the little 'sookigirl' or 50's 'doll gymnastics' prints, or even the 'seriously, stay smart' and 'it's cool, not to be cool' tees. Each can be mixed and match with the other diverse pieces from the collection.

"I get inspired with the good old days', a retro style print or shape and then incorporate a modern day version of it by adding fresher elements to the design," said Dijana Dotur Designer, founder and Co-Owner of Sosooki.

Internationally renowned designer Dijana Dotur studied at the prestigious Whitehouse School of Fashion and has over 17 year experience in the industry. Dijana Dotur is a mother to three beautiful children and three fantastic childrenswear brands, Sookibaby, Sosooki and Tiny Tribe.

The Sosooki children's collections are individual and stylish and reflect the innocence of youth. The collection makes dressing up fun for boys and girls. With this latest range the kids will be rushing to the closet and there will be no 'sooking' when it's time to get ready.

Sosooki is available in Myer stores nationally as well as selected boutiques across all Australian states and New Zealand. For more information or your nearest retailer visit: www.sookibaby.com.au or call 02 9553 3900.
