This hardcover book, featuring more than 300 full-colour new images, will include interviews with the stars and producers, and offer a behind-the-scenes look at how this legendary television series has been transformed into a major motion picture. Notes from costume designers will guide readers through the movies multi-million dollar fashion budget, providing prices and shopping locations for the latest in Galliano gowns, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Chanel handbags. An overview of the set locations will include a guide to Manhattans trendiest new restaurants and clubs, as seen in the movie. Visual timelines will display highlights from the womens lives and escapades in New York City over the past decade, and the cast and crew will reveal their own most memorable moments throughout the filming process.
New Line Cinema is bringing the much-loved television series Sex and the City to the big screen in a feature film adaptation. The film will follow the continuing adventures of the series four main characters - Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda - four years after the series ended. Stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon are all on board to reprise their roles while the film has been written and directed by Michael Patrick King, who executive produced the original television series. Additionally, Chris Noth, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler and Jason Lewis will return as the womens love interests. Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls) has also joined the cast of the film and will play Carrie Bradshaws assistant, a new character to be introduced in the film.
