To celebrate the coming of spring, the Royal Mail Hotel is inviting guests to indulge in the Royal Weekend Package. Available for weekend stays until the end of September, the Royal Weekend Package includes two nights' accommodation in one of the Royal Mail's luxurious Deluxe Mountain View Rooms OR a one bedroom Mt Sturgeon Cottage, a five course chefs tasting menu dinner in the award winning Dining Room, breakfast daily and a bottle of Riddoch Estate Shiraz to take home for $800 per couple.

The five course chef's tasting menu in the Royal Mail Hotel Dining Room is a seasonal reflection of the produce being grown in the restaurant's organic kitchen garden – the largest working restaurant kitchen garden in Australia - and local Victorian producers. All guests at the Royal Mail Hotel have the opportunity to tour the kitchen garden with a Royal Mail Hotel chef, to see first-hand where up to 80% of the produce-driven menu is derived. 

Visitors can also take a guided conservation tour to learn about the Royal Mail Hotel's captive breeding program, which aims to increase numbers of and raise awareness of threatened species such as Eastern Quolls and Tiger Quolls.

How:  The Royal Weekend Package costs $800 per couple and includes two nights' accommodation in a Deluxe Mountain View Room OR one bedroom Mt Sturgeon Cottage, a five course chefs tasting dinner in the hotel's famed Dining Room, breakfast daily and a bottle of Riddoch Estate Shiraz to take home.

Housed in the space where the Royal Mail Hotel Public Bar once stood, Parker Street Project's à la carte paddock to plate menu has been specially crafted by Executive Chef Robin Wickens and features modern Australian, nature-based morsels alongside traditional -pub classics'. Complementing the great new menu are signature wine flights as well as an impressive selection of boutique beers.
