Openair Cinemas Sydney

American Express Openair Cinemas will put a 'spring' in Sydneysiders' step as it returns to Metcalfe Park, right next to the Star Casino this November. Providing access to outdoor screenings beyond the traditional summer months, an exciting program of food and films has been revealed today.

FILMS
This year's program will kick off with a special Halloween screening of the terrifying IT Chapter 2. In addition, an exciting mix of recent box office hits such as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (1.11) and Ad Astra (03.11), and highly anticipated new releases including Hustlers (15.11, 21.11, 1.12) Joker (8.11, 17.11) and Zombieland: Double Tap (24.11, 29.11) will light up the big screen at dusk.

Little and big kids alike will rejoice at screenings of family films The Lion King (2.11), Dora and the Lost City of Gold (16.11) and Abominable (9.11).

American Express Openair Cinemas have always been proud supporters of Australian cinema and will be screening the uplifting Ride Like a Girl (28.11), the inspirational true story of Michelle Payne, the first woman to win the Melbourne Cup.

Fans of cult classics can vote for the movie they want to see on the big screen on November 27th, with the options including memorable movies such as Clueless, Mean Girls, 10 Things I Hate About You and more.

FOOD
The popular Canberra-based food truck Mr Papa will make its way from the capital to delight moviegoers with delicious Peruvian eats including loaded fries, street burgers and epic grazing platters.

DRINKS
Fear not, the refreshments are taken care of, thanks to national partners Giesen Wines, 4Pines beers, PIMMS and Enjoy Water, Australian spring water in reusable aluminium cans.

It's official, Wine Wednesdays are now a thing! Every Wednesday, guests can sample the full range of Giesen Wines (up to 8 different varieties) to pair perfectly with a selection of rom-coms. If you find yourself a favourite, Happy Hour pricing will let you upgrade to a bottle without breaking the bank.

FUN
The festival atmosphere will be in full swing every weekend with live music and DJ performances before the latest and greatest feature films light up the big screen.
