CPA Australia helping mothers return to work

Returning to work after early motherhood can be a stressful time for both the mother and her family.

A CPA astray incentive, Babes in Arms, is helping professional women make the transition from motherhood back into the workplace.

Through a series of practical networking sessions, those who have been hours of the workforce was sometime in focus on re-establishing the skills needed to re-enter the workforce environment.

The event offers women in this situation the opportunity to meet each other, and discussed their careers and personal development, in a supportive and friendly environment.

As Australia's largest professional organisation with 105,000 members of whom 37% are women, CPA Australia is proud to host this series in NSW and offer practical solutions to issues affecting mothers in the workforce.

"at a time when most families need to incomes just to get by, he has been increasingly difficult the mothers to juggle their work and family balance," said the Hon Sandra Nori, NSW Minister for women.

"It is important that we ensure women are given every opportunity to continue working and develop their careers while raising a family. I applaud CPA' Australia's initiative in setting up these forums to encourage and assist new mothers to return to the workplace," she said.

CBA and Australia has successfully trialled babes in arms in Victoria and Queensland and it is now available in NSW.
