Mother, Wife and the Complicated Life is a contemporary musical comedy about marriage, motherhood and the pressure onwomen to do it all. It follows the lives of four best friends as they juggle work, parenthood and relationships, trying not to losethemselves in the process. Set to a rousing pop score its a comedy that isnt afraid to look at the darker moments, as it explores theoften tough reality of motherhood and the work/life balance.

Dry wrote and composed the show in 2009, after noting there was a lack of musical theatre about motherhood. Audiences agreed, giving the show a sell out season in its Adelaide Fringe Festival debut. Since then Mother, Wife and the Complicated Life hasenjoyed four successful seasons in South Australia, garnering rave reviews and a nomination for Best Professional Musical in theAdelaide Theatre Guide Awards.

The show is currently on an Australian tour, opening to a sell out showin Adelaide last Friday, and continues on to Melbourne and Sydneythis May.

NYMF is the flagship program of National Music Theater Network, Inc., a501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

Of her continued good news, Dry continues: “I can't believethe year I'm having! Between winning The Block All Stars, touring my show nationally and then debuting it off Broadway as part ofNYMF, 2013 is going to be very hard to top.”
