LEGO Creator Show Castle Towers Shopping Centre

LEGO Creator Show Castle Towers Shopping Centre
Castle Towers Shopping Centre will be transformed into a LEGO® universe from April 11 2006! The LEGO Creator Show is set to excite Sydney kids and their families and best of all it's free!

The LEGO Creator Show will feature three main areas, the Product Area, Theme Area and Play Area. Whether you are a budding designer or engineer, the LEGO Creator Show will showcase major attractions and offer hands-on experiences you will never forget!

See the awesome larger-than-life LEGO sculptures in the Product Area, including a life-size model of the famous Harry Potter, a gigantic scale model of a scary red spider and a burly blue robot - all built using thousands and thousands of bricks.

Also check out the cubic diorama displays of all the latest LEGO themes including movie-favourite Harry PotterTM figures, set in a classic scene from the HogwartsTM campus, a BIONICLE® display with animated functions that kids control, a Star WarsTM scene featuring the coolest vehicles and characters as well as displays using LEGO City, LEGO Creator and more!

Kids and toddlers alike can look, listen, touch and feel the latest products in the Play Areas where classic LEGO bricks as well as DUPLO® bricks will keep hundreds of hands busy. For the older kids, two building areas in the shape of crazy characters are situated near each other, each featuring lots of bricks with plenty of building space and stools for comfortable construction. Little ones can climb into a giant square space made especially for them with oversized DUPLO bricks filled to the brim. The toddler play area is flanked by two giant green alligators, and enormous models of a giraffe and an elephant that they can see and touch.

Definitely the main attractions can be found in the Theme Area where amazing buildings and icons from 11 countries within the Asia Pacific region are located - all built with LEGO bricks, of course. See the small-scale models of the Taiwan's Grand Hotel, Hong Kong's Convention and Exhibition Centre, and Australia's famous Opera House. Find out what's happening on the Great Wall of China and see if you can spot the Meeting Place in Indonesia. The models in the Theme Area all are built in a contiguous 3 x 3 metre square using LEGO pieces from all kinds of play sets to capture the beauty and detail of the incredible icons.

Opening on Tuesday, 11 April 2006, the LEGO Creator Show will continue at Castle Towers Shopping Centre (Centre Court), Castle Hill until Sunday, 7 May 2006.
