Kyso Returns with Earned It
Rising Independent, Sale based Artist Kyso returns with a HipHop/RnB fused single - 'Earned It' available October 18th via Alumni Records. It's the second offering for the year as Kyso gears up for a strong end to 2019 and a huge head start ahead of 2020.
You can expect a smooth, catchy and relaxed vibe when listening to the single, which stemmed from and admiration of a significant other who was shy to show the world what they truly possess. He hopes this can be an anthem for those looking for confidence in showing their true selves.
"Can you show me how you work it?" is basically saying can you show me the real you. The one she hides from everybody. - Kyso on the lyrics of 'Earned It'
Using the powerful tool of music, Kyso hopes to convey his talent and artistry through his music and connect with his newly developed listenership, as well as gain a new following in the every growing HipHop community in Australia, dubbed as 'The New Wave'.

Interview with Kyso
Question: How would you describe your music?
Kyso: I would describe my music as a loose style between three genres, Hip-hop, Pop and R&B. I've been heavily influenced by Hip-hop and R&B my whole life so you will always hear hints of them in my music with Pop like melodies. My music comes from real-life situations I go through and can get very deep. But also a lot of it is fun and easy to listen too.
Question: Can you tell us about Earned It?
Kyso: Earned It is a laid back track with an R&B feel to it. With little rapping on it I mainly dive into the soft autotune singing on this one. If I could describe this song in one word it would be 'Comfortable'.
Question: What inspired the track?
Kyso: The track was inspired by women. Through the chorus, you will hear me saying "Can you show me how you work it?" which is basically asking the girl if she can show me the real her. Give me something that no one else would see behind closed doors. Show me the real you.
Question: Do you prefer performing live or recording?
Kyso: Definitely performing live. Recording is fun and something I do every day but performing live is like a huge rush that I could never get sick of.
Question: Which is your favourite song to perform live and why?
Kyso: That would have to be my song 'Get It Right'. I always perform that song last on my set and it is always received the best. It can give me goosebumps sometimes because of how much I love performing it. Such an energetic song that will always get the crowd involved.
Question: If you could have anyone, in the world, attend a show, who would it be?
Kyso: That's a tough one. I would love a loved one who has passed to be able to attend a show. But for someone that is alive, I would love J. Cole to attend a show of mine as he is my favourite artist and hopefully him seeing me live would inspire him to sign me (laughs).
Question: What motivates you most when writing music?
Kyso: Anything really, a feeling, the beat, the melody, my mind, the time of day, it can almost be anything. Mostly how I'm feeling at the time though.
Question: Which music/artists are you currently listening to?
Kyso: Right now I'm listening to a lot of Young Thug, So Much Fun is really good! Also listening to DaBaby as well and the usual J. Cole and Drake.
Question: What or who was your inspiration to go into the music industry?
Kyso: Nothing in particular really inspired me to go into the industry I just love making music!
Question: If you could collaborate with another artist, who would it be?
Kyso: Definitely Drake or J. Cole would be a dream come true.
Question: What's a typical day like?
Kyso: Wake up, make a coffee and go into the studio. Go to the gym at some point during the day. Have dinner then back to the studio or go and hang out with my girlfriend.
Question: What has been your favourite part of becoming a music artist?
Kyso: Just being able to create music that people love and can relate too. Being able to perform on stage in front of people. Meeting heaps of new friends and going to places that I thought I never could go.
Question: Can you share your socials?
Kyso:
