The cultural sensation High School Musical reaches a whole new level of 'cool' with Disney's High School Musical: The Ice Tour! The phenomenon is heading to Australia and New Zealand in a high-energy, live show - on ice!

Produced by Feld Entertainment (Disney On Ice, Disney Live!) and Kenny Ortega, Disney's High School Musical: The Ice Tour features chart-topping tunes from the smash hit movies High School Musical and High School Musical 2, with the signature choreography we all know and love. The colourful extravaganza stars a cast of world-class skaters portraying the roles of your favourite students from East High - Troy, Gabriella, Ryan, Sharpay, Chad and Taylor.

"We've brought together a creative dream team who will deliver a top-notch production that celebrates moments from the movies in an ice spectacular that will fill arenas with lights, music, dancing and spirit," says Producer Kenneth Feld.

Review:
The most inspirational ice show to date, exciting, flashy, true to the story and completely fabulous.Withs such an amazing storyline to follow it's easy to see why High School Musical the Ice Tour is Sensational.

The atmosphere was electric, with pre-teens & teens eagerly awaiting for the show to start, 95% of the audience knew the words back-to-front.

Although many of the audience may miss the technical difficulty in the choreography, the skaters worked in unisen the make a 'fabulous' show that boarder on more entertaining than the movie. The solo's & duets were dramatic showing the brilliance, grace and beauty of entertaining on ice.

Clever usage of props, stage floor coverage, lighting and special effects. Special mention to the brilliant portrayal of the winning point for the basketball championship in slow motion, spectacular effects.Watch out for other back scenery, it's clever, insightful to really show as much of the story as possible from the song words in opening the show to Troy's wardrobe change. Love the use of the lift & the rest of the cast in varying backgrounds, it really brought the story to life.

Never have I heard or been part of such an excited crowd of children & adults. I can't wait to see it again! I hope they bring it out on DVD! Congratulations to everyone involved in putting this show together you really have excelled.
