Hi-5 - Come on and Party!

Hi-5 - Come on and Party!
If you want to meet a great group of entertainers, that are true to their fans, look no further than Hi-5.

After an energetic, razzle dazzle performance of the Come on and Party' Australian Tour, the third performance for that day, Kathleen, Charli, Tim, Nathan and Kellie took their only time out between concerts and press interviews for their upcoming UK tour, to come meet (unscheduled) some of their fans.

Kathleen & Charli were first, and boy do they love kids. It took them all of a few seconds to scoop up our 18 month olds for a cuddle. Tim, Nathan and Kellie were not far behind armed with smiles and even more energy after their third performance that day. All 5 members of the Hi-5 team, Kathleen, Charli, Tim, Nathan and Kellie are genuinely friendly and energetic people, with a natural ability to relate to children.

The Team of Hi-5 and it's creators provide an fun and educational outlook on life and learning that every child will enjoy, and parents will not bore of.

We look forward to seeing new episodes and DVDs/Videos soon. We wish them every success in their tour and promotions to the United Kindom, but we also hope they come back soon.

About the members of Hi-5

Kathleen De Leon
She's charming, talented and holds a captive audience. Being the smallest of the group, children relate well to Kathleen, as she does to them with her question and answer imaginative presentations. But don't underestimate her, she's got a big voice to match that big heart of hers.
Kathleen was awarded both the Roberta Armstrong and Kellogg's Scholarships to attend The McDonald College in Sydney, where she majored in singing and dance.
Kathleen's talent has led to several high profile roles in theatre productions, including the internationally acclaimed Miss Saigon. She also understudied the female lead in Rent. Kathleen was a heat and semi-final winner on television's New Faces, coming third in the grand final, and has also appeared on such popular Australian television programs as Heartbreak High, Ridgey Didge, Swap Shop and the At Home Show with John Mangos.
Kathleen is enthusiastic about presenting the show's "Puzzles and Patterns" segment and about Hi-5's approach to learning generally. She says: "Music, movement, working with kids...it's everything I love."

Nathan Foley
Nathan has been captivating audiences and building on his extensive experience in the entertainment industry since age 11. And it shows, bursting with energy and hilarious facial expressions, Nathan is Mr Energiser himself, step aside cause here comes Nathan.
A graduate of Newtown High School of Performing Arts, Nathan's first love is singing. He is currently continuing his dance studies in tap and jazz at the Brent Street Studios.
When he joined Hi-5, Nathan was already a seasoned television performer who has made regular appearances on Network Nine's Midday Show and the At Home Show with John Mangos. Nathan has also appeared with a number of major national and international performers, including Jerry Hall and Gary Sweet at the Australian Fashion Awards.
Nathan has received the award for Best New Talent in the Australian Mo Awards, given in the area of live entertainment, with judging undertaken by peers. Nathan has released a CD called Discovery, on which he performs his own songs. He also produced the CD himself.
Nathan relishes the opportunity to bring singing and music to the "Shapes in Space" segment of Hi-5: "It's great finding new uses for everyday objects. And I love how children can get up on their feet and move and really enjoy themselves while they're learning. I have a lot of fun with it too."

Tim Harding
Tim's love of performance, plus his ability to sing, act and play several musical instruments, makes him the perfect all-rounder. As well as guitar and piano, Tim's passion is exploring new percussion instruments and writing his own music. His terrific sense of humour and down-to-earth nature ensures making music' is always fun.
Before starting on Hi-5, Tim had appeared on Home and Away, featured in a corporate short film and also made several television commercials.
His first big-screen appearances were in Gillian Armstrong's feature Oscar and Lucinda and Strange Planet.
As well as all-round musical talent, Tim brings a lively sense of humour to his presentation of the Hi-5 "Making Music" segment. Tim says: "My little brother James has taught me that there's more to being a kid than just having fun and making noise it's also about really serious stuff like eating lollies."

Kellie Hogart
She's bubbly and energetic but best of all Kellie loves a chat. This singing sensation is the perfect choice for word play' segments.
As a member of the smash hit group Teen Queens, Kellie released three popular singles plus one album. The Teen Queens also completed a sell-out tour of South East Asia.
Kellie's first major screen appearance was also made as a Teen Queen, in a special guest appearance on the long-running Australian series E-Street. This led to many other appearances on the small and big screen including appearing in Dating the Enemy with Guy Pearce.
Music remains one of Kellie's passions. An accomplished drummer, she also toured Australia as vocalist with the band Planet Gold in 1997 and released a single for Roadshow with her band Fame Insomnia. Kellie's outgoing personality makes her ideally suited to "having a chat" and to presenting the "Word Play" segment of Hi-5. "The best part about working on Hi-5 is being around kids. The concept and the music are fantastic and the cast and crew have fun with it. I think it's a great children's TV show," Kellie says.

Charli Robinson
Charli came into the world with her dance shoes fixed firmly to her feet. Her love of movement has since translated into many other skills, including juggling, acrobatics, clowning, stilt walking and yoga. She's the princess of "Body-Move" teaching children how to move their bodies with creativity and imagination and that charismic charm.
Charli also loves singing and performance. As a member of Young Stars she toured regional Australia and recorded two albums. She has performed solo at Carols by Candlelight and for the Hunter Region Schools Spectacular.
Charli has appeared on television in several high profile advertising campaigns and in the Australian series Home and Away and Heartbreak High. She has completed a full-time Performing Arts Course (including all styles of dance) at Brent Street and says:
"I love presenting the "Body-Move" segment of Hi-5. Movement is so important to children's overall development and all forms of dance are a creative and fun way to do this. I really enjoy passing on my enthusiasm to as many children as possible."
