Hand of Evil

Hand of Evil

Hand of Evil is the latest book in J.A Jance's new series featuring the ex-anchorwoman Ali Reynolds, the mystery begins when an elderly woman finds a brutally mutilated corpse while taking her daily walk in Arizona. Is it just a coincidence that, later that day, Ali is summoned to tea with the most powerful woman in her hometown? Once again, Ali is on the trail of a killer… but will she survive to recount the tale on her popular blog, cutlooseblog.com?

J.A Jance As a second-grader in Mrs Spangler's Greenway School class, J.A Jance was introduced to Frank Baum's Wizard of Oz series. She read the first one and was hooked, and knew from that moment on she wanted to be a writer. Jance's first book, a slightly fictionalised version of a series of murders that happened in Tucson, Arizona in 1970, was rejected. Her agent finally suggested she try her hand at fiction and the result was the first Detective Beaumont book, Until Proven Guilty. She has now written 14 books in the Beaumont series, eight books featuring Joanna Brady and two thrillers, Hour of the Hunter and Kiss of the Bees.
