Join the Gyuto Monks for one or all 17 days in January for their heartfelt line up of events including:
· 'Tibet's Timeless Tantric Tradition' Photographic Exhibition by Tobi Wilkinson: A highlight of the event is 'Tibet's Timeless Tantric Tradition', an intimate photographic exhibition by local Bondi photographer Tobi Wilkinson. Open everyday from 10am -5pm, Tobi's exhibition captures the essence of the Gyuto Monk community, reminding us of the simplicity and happiness they bring to everyday tasks which is in stark contrast to the conditions they live in and the complex situation they find themselves in as refugees from their homeland - Tibet.

· Morning and Evening Meditation: Join the Gyuto Monks as they chant for 30 minutes in meditation each morning at 11am and / or each evening at 5.30pm.

· Creation and Dissolution of a magnificent Sand Mandala: Over 14 days the Gyuto Monks will create the beautiful 2m x 2m Sand Mandala of Chakrasamvara, the mother mandala, holder of female energy and meditating on which is said to be the quickest way to enlightenment. On Sunday 31st,the final day, the Gyuto Monks will dissolve the Sand Mandala symbolizing impermanence and non attachment.

· Procession to the Sea: Celebrate the mandala offering with the monks in their yellow robes and spectacular yellow hats complete with Tibetan long horns, bells and cymbals as they walk in procession across the beach to the sea returning the sands to the waters of the earth

· NO WORRIES Meditation Series: New to the Gyuto Monks Tour and included due to the increase in day-to-day stress is the series of NO WORRIES meditations. If you seek personal solace and tranquillity the series talks about every day topics such as reducing worries, dealing with depression and constructing happiness in your life. Scheduled every day from 1pm - 2pm, join in on one or participate in all.

· Public Talks by Gen Lama: At 3pm each alternate day, be immersed in the unforgettable public talks by Gen Lama, esteemed elder of the monastery, who will tackle some pressing life issues and offer us ways and means of handling our problems. Key topics include fighting insecurity, fear, patience without aggression and showing us how we can counter our own negativity.

· HARD TRUTHS: Buddhist Teachings by Gen Lama: Available only for five evenings every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7.30pm - 9pm, join Gen Lama as he imparts his wisdom with some 'Hard Truths'. This thought provoking and insightful experience will be sure to challenge us to wake up and confront our delusions.

· Culture for Kids: Over a million Aussies kids have participated in the renowned 'Culture for Kids' art classes offering children of all ages an opportunity to spend time with the monks and make unique and intricate art works such as 'Keep Me Safe', 'Five Wisdom Flowers' and Soul Sticks'. Available everyday from 12.00pm to 1pm, bring your family and experience the famous classes first hand.

· Tantric Art Classes: Available at 3pm on alternate days, join the artistic and creative Gyuto Monks' in a Traditional Tantric Art Class where would be artists can create meaningful and expressive art.

· Jab Khru Healing Ceremony: Every day at 4pm, be a part of the Jab Khru Healing Ceremony invaluable for shifting or changing things in your life that need to be changed be it physical, mental/emotional or spiritual. Led by Gen Lama, the healing sessions are offered daily throughout the program. An opportunity to move on in your life and achieve your new year's resolutions. By appointment and offering.

· Timeless Voices: Summer Stillness - Harmonic Chanting Performance: One performance only on Saturday 30 January 8pm - 10pm, experience the Gyuto Monks' unique deep voices and overtone chanting, rich brocade costumes and ancient Tibetan instruments. The mere sound can open your heart to a new and joyful experience of living. ($20 entrance fee)
