Grapevine Gathering

Grapevine Gathering

We can't keep this bottled up any longer! Grapevine Gathering is back and just as full-bodied as ever before with a lineup featuring:

Two Door Cinema Club | Flight Facilities | Crooked Colours | Mallrat Touch Sensitive | Jack River | Late Nite Tuff Guy | Kira Pura | Lovebirds Big Words | Arno Faraji

Following the sold-out events in NSW & VIC last year including a 4 hour sell out in VIC, Grapevine Gathering is now expanding to WA so Perth wine & music lovers can get their fix.

"We're playing Grapevine for the first time ever! Bringing some of our friends & collaborators along for the ride too. There's something special about escaping the city to play regional towns and outdoor stages we've never been to before." (Flight Facilities)

Round up your Pinot pals and Grigio girls for a corker of culinary delights and beverages, whilst getting Merlot to the ripest musical talent on the vine.

Having last toured Australia in 2017 Two Door Cinema Club are a welcome addition to the Grapevine lineup. They first gained attention with 2010's 'Tourist History' and cult singles like 'Something Good Can Work' and 'What You Know'. With a new album dropping on June 21st wine lovers can expect all their favourites and a bunch of new tunes guaranteed to have them moving.

Riding high on their continual trajectory into the stratosphere, Flight Facilities will return with their full live show to Australian stages for Grapevine Gathering. With a string of hugely successful collaborations including Broods, Owl Eyes, Reggie Watts, Saro & Dustin Tebbutt and the sell-out 2015 Sidney Myer Music Bowl show with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, this will be the first Winery shows for Flight Facilities.

Hot off the back of a national sold out tour, Crooked Colours joins the Grapevine family in 2019. After break out hit singles 'Come Down', 'Capricious' & 'Another Way' all of which reached number one on Hype Machine as well as rotation on triple j, the band released their second album "Langata" last month.

Singer, songwriter and producer Mallrat began uploading anthemic laptop tunes as a 16-year-old in 2015, flash forward to 2018 and she's charted no. 7 in triple j's hottest 100 with her track "Groceries".

Much to the delight of fans, the man renowned for his catchy hooks and impeccable taste Touch Sensitive will be bringing his distinctive style to the stages of Grapevine Gathering. Whether it's remixing RÜFÜS DU SOL, collaborating with Flume, or touring internationally with Flight Facilities, this in demand producer, DJ and live performer will be the perfect soundtrack to the spectacular backdrop of wineries in VIC, NSW and WA.

New South Wales-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer/songwriter Jack River is renowned for her laid back, psych-tinged electropop which has earned her a loyal national following. With singles like "Talk Like That," "Fault Line" and "Ballroom" as well as a recent appearance on triple j's Like A Version, 2019 is shaping up to be another huge year!

Late Nite Tuff Guy cuts are rapidly becoming classics in their own right, deftly reworking vintage disco and soul tunes into modern clubbing wonders and proving that he is an alchemist of dance music.

Known for her dynamic live performances and genre-defying writing style, Kira Puru is widely respected as one of Australia's biggest voices and amassed a cult following with the hypnotic single Tension which hit 2+ million streams. The September 2018 release of her self-titled EP showcased an exhilarating evolution and spawned further acclaim and millions of streams.

Lovebirds is no stranger to Grapevine Gathering, this will be his 3rd consecutive Grapevine and for good reason. His classic "In the Shadows" is always a crowd favourite.

Big Words continue to make a name for themselves on the live circuit having recently sold out 170 Russell in Melbourne as well as performing at the Beyond the Valley main stage over New Year's Eve, and supporting Tash Sultana on a national tour, which saw them playing right before triple j Hottest 100 heroes Ocean Alley.

Welcoming him to the first Grapevine Gathering event in WA, Perth-based Arno Faraji is an artist at the forefront of the ever-changing landscape of Australian hip hop. In 2017 he was the first hip hop artist to ever win triple j's Unearthed High.
