Going Green Expo to open in Melbourne on World Environment Day
Designed to inspire a sustainable approach for work & living, the Going Green Expo will showcase the latest sustainable, green products and solutions that dont cost the earth!
The Going Green Expo 2008 - staged by Australasian Exhibitions & Events - will open at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre on World Environment Day, Thursday 5 June, 2008. The four day event will provide businesses and consumers alike with the opportunity to explore a wide range of green consumables, commercial products and technologies which offer a more sustainable and environmentally friendly approach to life in the workplace and at home.
“Our vision for Going Green is to provide a complete a to z of sustainable solutions in the one place and in doing so, to demonstrate how achievable and cost effective going green can be,” commented Going Green Event Manager, Anthony Doran.
“As more and more green products and solutions come onto the market, its becoming easier to draw cost comparisons between the environmental nasties and friendlies that are available and to see how you can actually save money and the environment by being green,” he added.

The Going Green Expo is designed to accelerate awareness of environmental issues and demonstrate how going green is easier than ever before - with modern technology and the latest developments that dont cost the earth being showcased at the event.
The Going Green Expo will showcase products and solutions for everything from agriculture, air quality, recycling & waste, carbon trading & offset programs and cleaning, to clothing, textiles, design, food & beverage, health & beauty, office supplies, organic produce, travel and eco tourism and green IT. In short, everything imaginable that is green and environmentally sustainable will be on show.
Expo highlights include The Green Village Pavilion, sponsored by Village Green, Go Organic food, wine and beer , the Green IT feature and a comprehensive of free seminars from industry experts and much, much more.
A series of free seminars will be held on the show floor covering a range of topics such as climate change, carbon trading and practical applications for sustainability in the work place and at home. A number of case studies and how to presentations will also give business visitors and consumers tips and insight into the easy ways to go green.
