Have men lost their way?
Get your man where he needs to go in style with the Garmin nuvi 3700 series.
How many times have you watched frustrated from the passenger seat or been kept waiting by your boyfriend or husband as they refuse to get the best directions on how to get to your next date? Research by Garmin has revealed that while Australian men are more likely than women to turn to a GPS for directions, they are neatly three times less likely than women to take directions from anyone!
As navigation has become one of the hot new accessories for drivers everywhere, it's time for you to become equipped with the thinnest, most stylish GPS on the market, the Garmin nuvi 3700 series. At less than 9mm thin, this new, sleek GPS device elevates the portable navigation device to a style icon, with shiny and sophisticated design that's just as at home in your handbag as in your car, meaning you can take it with you anywhere.
The Garmin nuvi 3700 series will deliver more time to your day, with the research revealing that nearly ten percent of Australian men will continue to drive for over 30 minutes after they realise they're lost, and almost 50 percent will take at least three wrong turns before asking for directions!
"We challenge our designers to develop a product that would fulfil people's navigation needs; from the practical to the aesthetic. People want their technology accessories to look good as well as do the job," says Matt DeMoss, Sales and Marketing Manager, Garmin Australasia. "With the nuvi 3700 series we've created a product that gets people where they need to go quickly and simply."
There are two models in the series- nuvi 3790T and nuvi 3760. nuvi 3790T is the new flagship model including lifetime traffic alerts, voice activated navigation, city modeling and terrain view. With a customisable voice activation phrase, the hassle of pulling over to ask someone where to go is a thing of the past. Simply say "Hello gorgeous!" or whatever phrase you choose and you nuvi 3790T wil power on and be ready to tell you where you need to go.
Look good, drive well
As well as looking great, the nuvi 3700 series comes packed with features to help you navigate with ease. Nearly half of Australian women said they need visual cues as well as directions to get them where they need to go. The nuvi 3790T includes City Modeling and 3D buildings, meaning the display includes city buildings rendered as they actually appear (city modeling currently available in Sydney and Melbourne). Both models in the series also include Real View Advanced Lane Guidance, which shows you an image of the major intersections on your approach. This means that the image you see on the screen matches what you see in front of you, making navigation a breeze.
Avoid traffic
For the third of Australians who say avoiding traffic is more important than just being told how to get from A to B, the nuvi 3790T includes a lifetime subscription to the SUNA traffic channel, providing real-time updates on traffic conditions and providing an alternate route. Both models in the series also include myTrends, which predicts routes based on you most frequent destinations allowing you to jump in your car, turn on the unit and travel to your location faster than before.
