The country is being terrorised by corrupt imperial assassins led by the ruthless, power-hungry warlord Commander Yu. Zhao (Jet Li), a former General wrongfully stripped of his rank, sets out to take down Yu and restore honour to the Imperial Court.

Their conflict comes to a head at the infamous Dragon Inn, a remote desert outpost and rumoured location of legendary lost city buried beneath the sand. As a massive sandstorm approaches, the lost city and its hidden treasure are revealed and the scene is set for an epic final confrontation.

The film is the first of its kind to be shot natively in 3D, adding a level of depth and immersion never before seen in a wuxia film. With spectacular visual effects and wonderful choreography, Flying Swords Dragon Gate is a feast for the senses.
