Egg-Citing Easter Long Weekend at Hunter Valley Gardens

Cadburys Giant Easter Egg Hunt (every 45mins)
Easter Saturday and Sunday will play host to the largest annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Hunter Valley and Central Coast. For the fifth year running, children can participate in the search for thousands of brightly coloured eggs. All hunters receive a gift of Cadbury Easter chocolate at the completion of the hunt. And of course the one and only Mr. Easter Bunny will be present on the day, bouncing around, so be sure to look out for him! How egg-ceptional!

Easter Craft (10am & 2pm), Colouring Competition & Garden Games (9am-4pm)
Over the long weekend there will be many fun art and craft activities for the kids. They will have the opportunity to make their own Easter Basket (in preparation for Easter egg hunting), Bunny Mask or Easter Egg. They can also colour in the Hunter Valley Gardens Easter Picture to go in the draw to win some great prizes. There are many Garden Games to participate in such as the Giant Parachute, Sack Races and everyone's favourite, the Egg and Spoon race.

The Hunter Valley Glee (2pm)
Listen to all your favourite Easter songs at the Hunter Valley Glee's Easter Show. A performance by a talented local group who are passionate about children's entertainment will surely get both the kids and and adults up dancing and singing along.

Hatching Chickens (9am to 5pm)
What better way to enjoy Easter, than to celebrate new life? Children will be able to witness real baby chickens hatch from their eggs and take their first steps in life.

The Gingerbread Workshop (10-3pm) $2 per child
On Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday there will be a gingerbread workshop. Kids can get creative decorating their own gingerbread cookies using different coloured icing, and chocolate.

Hunter Valley Gardens Train (runs every 45 mins)
Finish the day off with a Hunter Valley Gardens Train Ride, for only $5.00 for children and $7.00 for adults, families can be taken on an incredible train tour around the Gardens.

There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy at Hunter Valley Gardens this Easter Long Weekend. The kids will be bEGGing you to take them back!

Entry to the Gardens is $23.50 per adult and children 16 and older, $12 for children between 4 - 15 years of age, with children 3 years and under admitted free.
