Darren Harriott

Darren Harriott

First introduced to Melbourne audiences as part of the 2018 New Order showcase, now the powerhouse performer and two-time Edinburgh Award nominee Darren Harriott is set to bring his trademark passion and insightful wit to Melbourne in his brand-new critically acclaimed solo hour, Good Heart Yute.

Darren considers himself a good person. But now he's 30 and never been in love. Surely it can't always be someone else's fault?

Originally from the Midlands, Harriott is one of the most exciting comedians on the circuit. A regular face on UK television, Harriott can be seen on Mock the Week, Comedy Central's Roast Battle and giving his viewpoints on The Great British Bake Off: Extra Slice.

He appears regularly at comedy clubs across the UK, earlier this year wrote and recorded his own four-part series Black Label on BBC Radio 4 and has been immortalised in his hometown for his creative work in a mural which celebrates the city's rising stars.
