Couture Kids at Perth Fashion Festival
Fashion is for everyone at the 2010 Perth Fashion Festival (PFF) as mini-fashionistas take to the catwalk showcasing one of the fashion world's most recent trends - kid's couture.
PFF's Fashion Central in Forrest Place, Perth, will be transformed on Saturday 11 September as two free shows, dedicated entirely to children's fashion, take to the runways.
The first show, Mischka Aoki Kids Parade is set to showcase the designer's latest collection of high-end, limited and exclusive garments for baby girls from 12 months to three years of age.
Mischka Aoki designer, Winnie has a distinctive focus on quality and style, believing you're never too young to be a fashionista.
"Mischka Aoki came from my love for style and fashion, along with the realisation that there is no couture childrenswear line for our little girls to wear on a day-to-day basis. I wanted my daughter to look like a star every day, no occasion necessary," Winnie said.
"I'm so excited to showcase my latest collection at the Perth Fashion Festival. It's great to see such a diverse range of runway shows at PFF."
Mischka Aoki released its debut collection in 2009. This year is its first appearance at PFF.
Kids Kids Kids is the second event dedicated entirely to children at the 2010 Perth Fashion Festival.
The collection - which will include labels Jack and Milly, Little Leona, Milkshake, Pumpkin Patch and Wayne Junior - will be modelled by little fashion lovers showcasing the Spring Summer 10/11 childrenswear collections from Myer and Pumpkin Patch.
With delicious treats, prizes, and entertainment from Fat Cat, the Kids Kids Kids show will have something for everyone to enjoy.
