Comedian, Dancer, Influencer. Diana Nguyen now adds another skill to her CV - Chaser.
For the past 34 years, Diana Nguyen has been chasing things that didn't belong to her - friendships, fame, love, and she always knew it was unhealthy. Fast forward to 2020 and she's finally realised it's about time she chased herself.
A new stand-up show from the creator of much-lauded Phi and Me, Naked and Dirty Diana, Chasing Keanu Reeves is about being a fool, falling over, and snort laughing through it all. An unconventional fast-paced 50-minute celebration of the eternally "emerging comedian", it's also about Keanu Reeves. Spoiler alert.
A heady mix of storytelling, song, and dance, covering an array of lively topics in no particular order - including the ever popular take her Mother has on her choices - Chasing Keanu Reeves celebrates life through the trials of a 34-year-old (short term) single Vietnamese-Australian comedian.
Running from 26 March to 19 April as a part of Melbourne's iconic International Comedy Festival, Diana is primed for the chase.
Diana Nguyen has performed all over Australia and internationally with her co-created theatre show Phi and Me and stand-up shows Naked and Dirty Diana. She has appeared on The Project, Fat Pizza, Q&A (ABC), Fox Footy and Friday Front Bar, and various prostitute roles on Australian TV.
