With its minimalist lines and relatively small footprint, BeoLab 20 gives little indication of the expansive power that lies within. But turn on the music – and turn up the volume – and even the most discerning music aficionados can discover just how good their favourite tracks can actually sound. Visually the elegant design of BeoLab 20 is now elevated with a technological innovation mastered by Bang & Olufsen.
Bang & Olufsen shines
Based on years of technology work, the Bang & Olufsen signature on BeoLab 20 can be taken to the next level. By combining the use of powerful laser technology, precision milling and a specially developed composite, it is now possible to produce a Bang & Olufsen logo that shines through the aluminium.
'Whenever we place the Bang & Olufsen signature on a new product we do it with conviction. We care for everything on a product that meets the customer's eye. This being; material selection, surface treatment, colour choice and naturally, the overall physical design. When we have achieved what we believe is perfection, we sign it with the Bang & Olufsen logo. Naturally, the logo signature is considered with special care, and by adding the shine through aluminium it can now be taken to the next level" says, Marie Kristine Schmidt, Vice President Brand, Marketing and Design. The logo shines pleasantly when BeoLab 20 is turned on and stands proud as always when the product is turned off ensuring that it is always evident that this is a true Bang & Olufsen product.
All of the sound, none of the wires
Bang & Olufsen was the first manufacturer to incorporate the groundbreaking WiSA platform into products, and BeoLab 20 is the company's latest Immaculate Wireless Sound speaker. With WiSA's robust, multi-channel digital audio streaming, BeoLab 20 provides premium listening experiences without compromising the integrity of the interior design.
Designed for sound ¬– with sophisticated simplicity
The iconic Acoustic Lens tweeter on top of BeoLab 20, is a tour de force of metalworking craftsmanship that spreads high frequencies evenly around the room in a full 180 degrees. Whether your favourite listening position is the sofa or a lounge chair, your spot is the sweet spot.
Colour options – by Danish fashion designer Stine Goya
Bang & Olufsen recently also added a colourful flare to selected products including BeoLab 20, by teaming up with the Danish and internationally acclaimed fashion designer Stine Goya, who has added four colours to the Bang & Olufsen world: Midnight green, Rumba red, Forged Iron grey and Driftwood beige. The BeoLab 20 wireless speakers are also available in black and white.
BeoLab 20 with shine to the logo is available at Bang & Olufsen stores worldwide, priced at AUD $7,475 per piece.
