Freak of Nature is the second album from the LA-based diva Anastacia, and the follow-up to her debut album, Not That Kind.

Not That Kind has sold over 260,000 albums, and is certified Triple Platinum. "I'm Outta Love", the first single from Not That Kind, was the #1 ARIA single for five weeks. Anastacia was also nominated for the 2001 Best International Artist ARIA.

Freak of Nature was primarily produced by Ric Wake (Celine Dion), who worked with Anastacia on seven tracks from Freak of Nature, including first single "Paid My Dues". Anastacia also reunited with Sam Watters and Louis B, the producers/ songwriters of her breakthrough smash "I'm Outta Love", on three tracks from Freak of Nature.
