ACCEPTANCE is an important part of self-growth and happiness and depending on how you develop acceptance within yourself, it can have a great bearing on your health and how you live with others.
Everything that happens, will happen. People, animals and insects will continue to do what they do with or without you, and for the most part, your choice is to accept or not accept how you wish to handle yourself in the dynamics of all this.
If you choose not to accept it, you could feel pain, pressure, frustration, anxiety and sometimes anger. Reacting in this manner is all self-damaging, because it doesn't allow you to think clearly or rationally. If on the other hand, you make the decision to accept what is going on around you and just do the best you can (and tell yourself you have), then you will find that you won't feel so angry and frustrated.
This does not mean that you have to give up or give in per say and it's not the same as liking or disliking or even agreeing. It's simply looking at the way things are, all you need to say to yourself is "that's the way it is or that's the way they are."
By not accepting means that we want to control things, events, people and the world. This is a battle within yourself that you won't win, you will only continue to feed your frustration and anger.
To prove the futility of this, try to stop the wind from blowing, the tide from coming in, and the sun from rising or setting it isn't possible is it?
It would be much better to spend the time controlling ourselves and learning to accept that there are things beyond our control. Let's just work on controlling ourselves. That's something we can do.
Many wonderful works of art, sculptures, paintings, buildings etc. all started from very basic raw materials, a lot of them with flaws and faults, but they were worked on and created into things of beauty and wonder.
You too can become a person of inner beauty and wonder to others by accepting people and happiness, by embracing the thought of 'that's the way they are or that's the way it is'.
When you meditate on this ask your guardian angel to help you learn acceptance and forgiveness and try to develop a mantra such as, 'I accept for myself all that there is and all that will be'.
May you find your guardian angel, try to love all things and peace be with you.
