A Day On The Green: Human Nature

A very special Christmas comes to a day on the green when Human Nature bring their critically acclaimed live spectacular show to the Yarra Valley for their only Australian concert.

The awesome foursome have created a special one-off concert called Human Nature Jukebox & Christmas for their a day on the green debut, performing songs from their whole career, including the group's original hits through to their hugely popular Motown, Christmas and hit Jukebox albums.

The group will play one night only at Victoria's Rochford Wines, Yarra Valley on Saturday December 16.

Human Nature Jukebox & Christmas will feature classics from their two chart-topping multi-platinum Jukebox albums like Runaround Sue, Be My Baby, You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' and Gimme Some Lovin', plus festive favourites from their platinum Christmas record including White Christmas, Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) and Winter Wonderland and many of their other smash hits such as Wishes, Every Time You Cry and Don't Cry.

'There is nothing like the joy of holiday music and the happiness it brings audiences from all parts of the globe, not to mention for us as well," says Human Nature's Andrew Tierney. 'We're very excited to be bringing our entire show filled with songs that our fans have embraced to a day on the green for the very first time. It's been an incredible year for us as a group and to celebrate with our Australian fans at Rochford Wines is set to be a huge night of fun!"

Joining Human Nature will be the fabulous, multi award-winning Kate Ceberano and pop sensation Bonnie Anderson.

The concert announcement will no doubt thrill Human Nature's fiercely loyal fans while also serving as a sensational way to celebrate this special time of the year.

Blending retro cool with contemporary sounds, Human Nature have become one of Australia's most successful musical exports, spending the past eight years in Las Vegas while still maintaining huge popularity at home through regular album releases and sold-out headline shows, most recently with their hugely successful Ultimate Jukebox arena tour earlier this year.

The foursome – Toby Allen, Phil Burton, and brothers Andrew and Michael Tierney – recently celebrated their 27th anniversary, having sold more than 2.5 million albums, earned 27 platinum awards and scored four number one albums, ten Top 10 albums in Australia and five Top 10 albums worldwide.

They have well and truly earned their place as one of the finest pop vocal groups of the modern era and are known around the globe for their distinctive, flawless harmonies and stellar live shows.

In a career bursting with highlights, standout moments include performing to a global audience at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, opening for Michael Jackson and Celine Dion at concerts around the world and appearing on US television in shows as varied as The Talk, Oprah, and Dancing With The Stars as well as their own PBS special in 2011, Human Nature Sings Motown.

Their ONLY Australian show for a day on the green tops off a great year for the group and cements 2017 as one of their greatest achievements with the exciting news that their Jukebox show has been extended at The Venetian Las Vegas to March 2019, as well as a new Jukebox TV special for PBS that is set for national broadcast in the US later this year, while clocking well over 1600 shows in the US.

The night will be an explosion of the band's most popular hits that have held the group at the top of the charts for more than 20 years.

Kate Ceberano holds a special place in the hearts of Australian audiences. Her achievements include five Platinum albums, five Gold albums and more than two million albums sold. Twenty-four albums over 30 years makes her Australia's most prolific female recording artist of this era. With her soulful voice and enchanting onstage presence, Kate has had a wildly successful and diverse career. She has sung for Prince Charles, won Best Female Vocalist at the Countdown Awards, starred in Jesus Christ Superstar, won Dancing With The Stars, been Queen of Moomba, appeared in the movies Dust Off The Wings and Molokai, and had her own TV show, Kate Ceberano and Friends. And, of course, Kate has made chart-topping pop, jazz and blues albums including last year's The Kate Ceberano Anthology, a three-disc, 53-song celebration of her music to date.

Since winning the inaugural season of Australia's Got Talent in 2007 at just 12 years of age, Bonnie Anderson has become an accomplished singer-songwriter and performer. In 2013 Bonnie released her first single, Raise The Bar, followed by Blackout, giving Bonnie her first Top 20 hit single. Bonnie toured with British pop star Olly Murs on his 2013 Australian tour and last year made her stage debut in the revival of the '70s musical Godspell.
