Finally a solution to the age-old problem of pollution and nappies! For so long this has been a lose/lose battle between labour-intensive cloth nappies that require vast amounts of water and detergent versus disposable nappies that take up to 150 years to break down in landfill.

Safeties were designed by Western Australian scientist and mother, Charishma Sen. Charishma says, "This product is my life's work. Safeties use grafted polymer to natural starch technology that ensures liquid is naturally and quickly drawn away from the skin, thereby reducing the risk of nappy rash and more serious conditions that result from traditional absorption methods.

The product has been scientifically tested and in normal conditions breaks down completely in less
than six months. However, due to the arid conditions of Australian landfill, it is estimated that Safeties will completely break down in these dryer conditions within 6-8 months. Included in each pack of nappies are 100% biodegradable disposal bags the nappies must be placed in when they are disposed of.

Product testing has been overwhelmingly positive.
