Yungblud shares the video for Psychotic Kids, a new song from his forthcoming full-length debut, 21st Century Liability, to be released on July 6th on Locomotion/Geffen Records. The video, directed by Adam Powell (The 1975, Pale Waves) can be viewed here.
"I wanted to create something you can't ignore," said Dominic Harrison (Yungblud). "I miss videos that are theatrical. Growing up I was obsessed with the visuals of artists like Bowie, Lady Gaga, The Beastie Boys and Marilyn Manson."
Psychotic Kids is, in Harrison's own words, a song about "people with old ideologies trying to hospitalize the younger generation's way of thinking"treating them almost like an experiment. Our mental health is questioned because there is fear to adopt 'new' ways of thinking. People are always afraid of things they don't understand and instead of confronting fear, it's so much easier to pass it off as insanity."
