New films starring Shirley MacLaine, Christopher Plummer, Kate Winslet, Reese Witherspoon and Charlotte Rampling will premiere at the 2015 Young At Heart Film Festival, which celebrates its 10th birthday and for the first time will include Melbourne as well as Sydney.
The program reveals a stellar line-up of 12 feature films; from the Oscar®-nominated, Cannes-winning Russian thriller Leviathan to Clouds Of Sils Maria, starring Juliette Binoche and Kristen Stewart.
The festival also offers audiences the chance to see beloved classics such as David Lean's Brief Encounter and new documentaries like Hip Hop-Eration, where a troupe of Kiwi octogenarians travel to Las Vegas to perform in the World Hip-Hop Championships.
The only event of its kind, Young At Heart is a film festival dedicated entirely to seniors, their friends and relatives. With tickets starting at just $7 ($6 for Palace Golden Movie Club members) for a unique program of a mix of international premieres and classic films on the big screen, Young At Heart is a festival that mature Australians can truly call their own.
