Yarraville Laughs Celebrates 7th Birthday

Seven years ago, The Yarraville Club decided it was time to enlighten the New West by bringing rock solid A Grade entertainment to the western suburbs on a regular basis. From Police Academy's Michael Winslow to Judith Lucy, Flight Of The Conchords' Rhys Darby to Hannah Gadsby, Yarraville Laughs has been smashing it since day one. Now Yarraville Laughs is proud and excited to announce its 7th BIRTHDAY SHOW featuring Tony Martin, Bev Killick, Marty Sheargold, Christian O'Connell, Scared Weird Little Guys, Dave Thornton, Jeff Green, Corey White, Bob Franklin, Matthew Hardy, Aurelia St. Clair plus a bunch of surprise guests too!

TONY MARTIN
(Much-loved since the days of Triple M's Martin & Molloy, ABC TV's The Late Show and most recently the award-winning SIZZLETOWN podcast, TV's Have You Been Paying Attention, plus regular radio guest spots with NOVA Breakfast's Chrissie, Sam & Jono)

MARTY SHEARGOLD
(Marty's recently announced first national stand-up tour for 20 years sold out in two hours. Another star of Ten's Have You Been Paying Attention, Marty is part of the long-term NUMBER ONE National Drive show on Nova, alongside Katie Richie & Tim Blackwood)

SCARED WEIRD LITTLE GUYS
The hilarious and adored musical comedy duo with a huge global reputation bring themselves out of retirement for this one-off Yarraville appearance. We have friends in high places!

CHRISTIAN O'CONNELL
The UK's twelve-time SONY AWARD winner for broadcasting excellence has swiftly made a massive impact as GOLD FM breakfast host in less than a year since arriving in Melbourne.

JEFF GREEN
Our second international guest has delivered sold out solo shows across the world for over 30 years. The popular English gent is a permanent fixture on Ten's Comedy Gala.

DAVE THORNTON
Regular co-host of The Project, host of Fox Footy's Beep Test and annual smash-hit Melbourne International Comedy Festival solo show.

BEV KILLICK
As seen on Kath & Kim and most recently as Troy Kinne's Mum on Ten's hottest sketch comedy series 'KINNE', Bev has long been one of Australia's most powerful and irreverent stage comedians.

BOB FRANKLIN
If Yarraville Laughs had to vote for their favourite comedian, well, it would be like asking which child we love the most. So we won't answer, even if the answer is Bob Franklin. The man's a genius.

AURELIA ST CLAIR
With a gentle hint of African accent, this fast-rising inevitable Australian comedy star makes her debut at Yarraville, delivering unique insights which pack a well-disguised punch.

COREY WHITE
Subject of his own Australian Story episode, and follow-up series on ABC TV, Corey has garnered critical praise and won Best Solo Show at the 2014 Sydney Fringe and Best Newcomer Award at the 2015 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival.

MATTHEW HARDY
Our resident MC recently sold out his shows which celebrated 20 years since the publication of his best-selling book, Saturday Afternoon Fever.
