Richard Taylor is the royalty of pre-schoolers having created the WotWots with internationally acclaimed author and children's television creator, Martin Baynton of Jane and the Dragon fame. Taylor's company, Weta Workshop's past credits have included providing physical and digital effects for films including The Lord of the Rings trilogy, King Kong, The Chronicals of Narnia and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. For The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Weta provided the design, fabrication and on-set operation of the creatures, special make-up effects and prosthetics, miniatures, armour and weaponry. Richard and his team have won many international film awards including five Academy Awards and three BAFTAS.
