World's Funniest Island, the brand new two-day blockbuster comedy festival on Sydney's Cockatoo Island in October, has announced that comedy fans can now camp for the weekend at waterfront camp sites.

The festival boasts around 200 performances from local and international acts like Alexei Sayle, The Goodies' Tim Brooke-Taylor and Graeme Garden with the Chaser's Andrew Hansen, Tripod, Merrick and Rosso, Akmal, Jimoein, Fiona O'Loughlin, Josh Thomas, Felicity Ward, Heath Franklin's Chopper, Scared Weird Little Guys and Axis of Awesome.

To hire a camp site with a tent to fit three adults or two adults and two children costs $120.00, or if you decide to hire a site and bring your own tent, no bigger than a four man tent, it costs $75.00.
