With World Maths Day just around the corner (Tuesday 1 March), Australian Company Handband is urging Australian kids to 'make maths fun' and improve their maths skills.
The findings of the National Numeracy Review Report published in 2008 by the Council of Australian Government stated "That all systems and schools recognise that, while mathematics can be taught in the context of mathematics lessons, the development of numeracy requires experience in the use of mathematics beyond the mathematics classroom"
Handband have developed a 'fun maths tool', called Multibandz which is designed specifically to encourage children to learn mathematics skills in a fun and innovative way - by keeping children interested and involved in their learning.
