It's My Birthday is a Nintendo Wii game which offers child-friendly entertainment that is suitable for a whole family. Although It's My Birthday is a game for younger children, I think everyone will enjoy playing it as it is quick, colourful and fun! What birthday party isn't fun? The box includes everything you need to have a party at home! Just set up your Wii, insert the disc and play for hours!

As well as the game, in the package you receive a box filled with everything you need to throw a party from your own home, party hats, colouring sheets, invitations and Happy Birthday banners.

I chose to create a Princess and a Glamour party, but you can choose from various party themes, such as Pirate (swords and treasure chests), Sports and many, many more. You are able to name the guests- as well as choosing who is the birthday person!

Each player can choose their own avatars- and at the beginning these avatars can be customised with clothes, hair and accessories!

It was easy to set up the party and you can play with up to twelve guests! Every time you begin a new challenge, or game, you choose your player again- this means the game can work with numerous children. The games are quick which means children will not get bored waiting for their turn either.

Once you begin the party you play games, and after every game is completed you receive a new addition to your birthday party, whether it is a cake, decorations, presents, or a specialised chair for the birthday star! All of the special birthday additions correspond with the theme of the party, for a princess you receive Unicorn decorations for a glamour party you receive a high heeled red shoe as your unique chair! The cake is even personalized with the number candles that represent the age of the birthday person!

You can wack, roll, scribble, climb and jump through over 20 fully interactive and different games, most are party classics such as the sack race, piñata, pin the tail on the donkey and puzzles but you also have new and exciting games like the cake drop, sling shot and pop the balloon!

Once you have earned all the decorations and treats to fill your birthday party the guests sing and dance to the 'Happy Birthday' song- which is includes the birthday person's name! All the guests at the party can sing karaoke style!

It's My Birthday is a great game for younger children- as the games are short and they still hold the attention of a crowd as well as not requiring a lot of room. The game is perfect if there are a few children at the one house.
