Why We Run have just unveiled the beautiful new clip for their AMRAP/Air It-charting single -A Moment to Return'.
Based on a concept by the band's frontman Nic Cogels, the video's narrative closely reflects the song's nostalgic lyrics, which explore a desire to return to a time or situation that no longer exists.
Shot in Sydney's Middle Harbour next to Castle Rock, a secluded beach, the video was directed by Andrew Seaton and acclaimed production house Mint Films. It was filmed to appear as if it were one long take - a look that presented a number of logistical challenges for a small crew on a tight budget. The results are stunning.
'A Moment to Return' is the first single from Why We Run's forthcoming debut album -Holograms', due mid-year.
Why We Run will play live in Sydney on Easter eve – don't miss the chance to see them – Thurs 24 March at Oxford Art Factory w/ Jenny Broke the Window.
