ENTERTAINMENT
2CELLOS
Following their critically acclaimed and sold out 2014 Australian tour, 2CELLOS, music's most electric and dynamic instrumental duo, will return to Australia and New Zealand in January 2015. The duo will perform at The Star Event Centre on Saturday, 10 January 2015.
Young Croatian cellists Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, together known as 2CELLOS, came to international fame in 2011 when their cello version of Michael Jackson's -Smooth Criminal' went viral. It has since reached over 20 million YouTube views. Their playing style has broken down the boundaries between different genres of music, from classical and film music to pop and rock. 2CELLOS have no limits when it comes to performing live and are equally as impressive when playing Bach and Vivaldi as they are when rocking out, as evidenced in the mind-blowing clip of their version of the AC/DC track Thunderstruck.

Seu Jorge
Enjoy a night of irrepressible Brazilian sounds with a live performance by Brazilian musician Seu Jorge live from The Star Event Centre on Sunday, 11 January.
The rough-but-sweet-voiced kid from Rio's favelas plays a signature mix of transformative pop covers (you may remember his sublime Portuguese-language Bowie interpretations in The Life Aquatic), alongside swinging original tunes flavoured with samba, reggae, Brazilian pop and electronics.
Jorge is supported by his compatriots, hip-hop revelation Karol Conka and renowned NYC-based music producer and selector Béco Dranoff. Together they bring the rhythm and heat of Brazil to Sydney.
