This rare Australian foray into the Hong Kong action market proved to be a huge success. It marries acrobatic martial arts fight sequences with a decidedly Aussie flavour, in particular its spectacular opening fight sequence on top of Uluru, followed by a breathtaking car chase through the Outback. Director Brian Trenchard-Smith's background as a stunt man added a kinetic thrill to the film's many action showpieces.
