Recently divorced, Ahmad (Shahab Hosseini) returns to Tehran after living in Europe. His arrival sparks an impromptu reunion of old friends who venture to the seaside to reconnect and relax. Sepideh (Golshifteh Farahani), an effervescent mother hen of sorts, has invited her daughters' young schoolteacher Elly (Taraneh Alidoosti), seemingly a perfect match for Ahmad, to join them.
