VANFEST

VANFEST organisers Grant and Matt Clifton are excited to announce GRMM, Matt Boylan-Smith and Kuren to VANFEST's already stellar line-up.

GRMM, the solo project of Sydney's Ben Markos, has emerged as one of the Australian beat-makers leading dance music's new guard. His single What You Need broke him into the EDM world when dance music guru Diplodropped the track into his program to an audience of millions. Named as a 'rising star who deserves the hype", GRMM has polished off edits for The Preatures, YolandaBe Cool and British act Gorgon City, just this year alone.

Kuren is the moniker of self-taught producer Curtis Kennedy who through many hours honing his craft unintentionally perfected the art of downbeat electronica. This can be heard in his debutEP Love Lost which has Kuren take listeners on an emotional journey through six tracks of remarkable composition. Set to perform at a special evening event on Friday December 4th,both Kuren and GRMM will be joining 'Band of the Moment", international act Rudimental who will be treating the crowd to a live set. Also set to bring their own twist of house beats to the stage are chart-topping Australian duo, Peking Duk, who will perform one of their infamous DJ sets. Seasoned performer Kilter completes the line-up at the pre-festival concert, making it a night not to be missed.

Joining the already jam-packed line-up on Saturday December 5th, it's a good thing Matt Boylan-Smith is no stranger to performing alongside top acts, having previously shared the stage with top performers including Ash Grunwald, Tim Freedman, Katie Noonan, Sneaky Sound and the PotBelleez. Matt's track is sure to bring something unique to the VANFEST stage with his performance, which will include his new EP Beacon in the Sky, a combination of sweet melodies, subtle harmony, orchestral themes and intelligently woven lyrics.

The much-anticipated Saturday VANFEST line-up already includes the multi-platinum selling JohnButler Trio headlining alongside ARIA award winning Birdsof Tokyo.

Joining them are ARIA award winning, platinum selling, hip-hop sensation Illy, whose lyrical smarts have cemented him as one of Australia's most exciting artists; the continuously chart

topping, contradictory sounds of alt-dub-rock that are Sticky Fingers; ARIA chart toppers, six times platinum selling, record breaking Sheppard, back in Australia after performing at Lollapalooza (USA); Indie Rock / Americana artists Twin Fires; the electro-soul mixes of Bootleg Rascal and resident DJ Stacie Todd.
