Uber Ice Cream

This Friday Uber has teamed up with Oz Harvest to deliver ice cream on-demand to over 400 cities, across 69 countries, on six continents around the world. Australia will be one of the first countries in the world to kick-off the global campaign. To bring frozen treats to the people, this year Uber has partnered with OzHarvest and top Australian chefs Matt Moran, George Calombaris and Neil Perry.

The three masters of meals have created three different mouth-watering flavours inspired by some of OzHarvest's most rescued ingredients – Matt Moran has used bananas to create -Banoffee Crunch', Neil Perry has used ginger nut biscuits to create -Spiced Cookie & Salted Caramel Swirl' and George Calombaris has used walnuts to create -Caramel & Walnut Baklava'.

In case you need an excuse to eat ice cream – especially in winter – not only has all the ice cream been made using rescued food, but every tub purchased will help fund five meals for local people in need.
