Truffle enthusiasts, growers, foodies and the just plain curious will be gathering together once again as the world's tastiest game of hide and seek, Truffle Melbourne, rolls into Melbourne, taking over The Centre in Ivanhoe from 11 – 12 July 2015.
Attracting some of Australia's biggest names in food, the event will host the likes of global cooking sensation Guy Grossi, renowned French truffle master Chef Philippe Mouchel leading the live demonstrations in an amazing art deco heritage venue.
Over two huge days, The Centre will transform into 3 levels of culinary heaven where the best of Australian truffles and their artisan food and drink partners will be on display for all to see and taste, and to sweeten the deal, every visitor receives a fresh truffle taste on arrival!
Guests will have the opportunity to savour affordable truffle dishes, delight in a 3 course matched wine lunch feast, meet truffle savvy dogs, discover truffle infused delights, master techniques for creating indulgent truffle dishes at home and learn from some of Australia's best chefs and artisan producers telling their stories on the Producers Stage.
Event organisers are predicting more than 6,000 visitors will flock to the event and a whopping $250,000 worth of truffles will be enjoyed over the course of the festival, cementing Australia's love for the decadent treat.
