Thomas & Friends 70th Birthday

Thomas & Friends™ are hosting the ultimate 70th birthday celebration at Flinders Street Station, with a huge life-sized Thomas birthday cake and pop-up shop.

Thomas & Friends™ has been a much loved character for generations of Australian boys and girls. To honour 70 years of friendship, friends of all ages are invited to join the celebrations from 1pm on 5 March to 10 March, 2015, to visit the life-size replica Thomas cake and take their photograph with the enormous creation.

Measuring over 3 metres long and 1.5 metres high, the bespoke cake is created by Christopher Montebello, founder of Melbourne bakery Let Them Eat Cake.

Limited edition Thomas & Friends™ products are available to purchase in the pop-up shop, located next to the cake, so fans can take home their own special memento of Thomas' 70th birthday celebrations and be in with a chance to win an overseas holiday to visit their best friend Thomas! The pop-up shop is open from 2 March to 10 March, 2015.
