Synopsis: Council workers Lotto (the unlucky one), Wookie (the conspiracy theorist), and Sue (who sued a pie company after discovering a pastry covered severed finger) are best mates in a small Aussie town.

They spend their weekends lazily digging at an old gold-mining site hoping to strike it rich. Each weekend they come home with nothing but a hangover.

Everything changes when they discover a monster gold nugget that could well be the largest piece of gold ever uncovered. The guys think they've got it made, but are soon fending off the town's most unsavoury characters, who want the nugget for their own.

Not only that, but the promise of wealth can put a strain on the healthiest of friendships, and the mates find their longstanding bond tested.
