The Waterhole

To show Melburnians that a NT experience is like nowhere else in the nation, the Territory has come to town to give locals a taste of Australia's outback.

At -The Waterhole', an outback inspired pub in Federation Square, guests can immerse themselves in all things Territorian from its iconic wildlife, to mouth-watering NT cuisine, adventure-fuelled experiences, to discovering its indie music scene.

Locals will be able to cool off with Mango ice cream from the Top End, ice-cold beer, and sink their teeth into some uniquely NT pub grub including NT Barra and chips, Crocodile Poppers or Red Centre tarts for brekky.

After enjoying the tantalising cuisine on offer, guests can get hands on with some of the NT's most famous faces including camels and baby crocs as well as learn about the incredible experiences that are unique to the Territory.

Consumers will be able to get a true taste of the Top End through a unique virtual reality experience. State of the art Samsung VR heads sets will take the consumers on a spectacular NT journey through Kakadu and Katherine.

On Friday April 1, Top End indie band, -At the Dakota', and NT artists, David Crowe and Andrew Langford, will play from 6.30pm to 9pm, showcasing some of the nightlife on offer that only an NT experience can offer.
