As King Henry (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) marries Jane Seymour (Annabelle Wallis), Thomas Cromwell's (James Frain) ruthless dissolution of the Catholic Church continues. Deeply disturbed and angered by the desecration, John Constable (Kevin Doyle) suggests to a local attorney, Robert Aske (Gerard McSorley), that the common people are only in need of a leader to rise up, but Aske is unmoved.
