The series follows a group of teenagers searching for answers about a deadly virus that has wiped out all the adults on earth. With no adults to guide, rule or protect them, the children of the world are on their own. Living in a world of anarchy, confusion, danger and fear the children must do all they can to survive. The series begins with the city being invaded by the Techno's, a new and much more advanced tribe.
