The Star will throw open the doors to its gleaming new expansion, that will include 20 new restaurants and bars, and a sophisticated retail area including a collection of leading luxury brands. The entire façade of The Star has been re-orientated to face the harbour and is set on an open promenade lining Sydney's waterfront.
The first restaurants set to open are Chef Stefano Manfredi's Balla and chef Teage Ezard's BLACK by ezard which open to the public from Friday 16 September, as well as a new harbour facing cocktail bar, Cherry. From mid-October 2011, The Star will also become home to David Chang's Momofuku Seiōbo, Chase Kojima's Sokyo, Sydney's Cantonese institution Golden Century, Adriano Zumbo's new patisserie and takeaway eatery Flying Fish and Chips.
