Foodies on the Sunshine Coast are advised to put Sunday 28 June in their diary as the date for the 2009 Eumundi Food Fest. Part of the Noosalongweekend 10 day cultural event, the Eumundi Food Fest (now in its seventh year) brings together local producers, growers, chefs, restaurateurs, entertainers and food lovers with a host of activities and entertainment throughout the day.

Eumundi Food Fest Coordinator Trent Harvison says Eumundi's village atmosphere is the ideal setting for an event that has become a 'must do' for those with an appreciation of fresh and fabulous food.

"The Tucker Tent is the main hub of the Food Fest. It will be the place to enjoy all sorts of foodie fun-with cooking presentations and demonstrations throughout the day," Trent says.

The Eumundi Food Fest will also feature a Raw Talent Restaurant hosted by school-based trainees in hospitality, as well as a Farmer's Market, showcasing the sub-tropical, the unusual and unique local foods and produce.

The Noosa Beach Classic Car Club will also be hosting their 'Show and Shine' display - an impressive gathering of sparkling classic motor vehicles. Situated right in the middle of the Food Fest, the display will provide scores of delicious cars to drool over.
